01How verification works

Understanding MindBridge Verification

MindBridge aims to make professional and organization information easier to understand and compare. Verification helps indicate which parts of a listing have been reviewed against information provided by the professional, organization, or relevant public sources.

Verification is not an endorsement, guarantee of quality, clinical outcome, or recommendation.

Core principle

Verification is separate from payment.

MindBridge verification is independent of commercial profile level. Paying for an Essential, Enhanced, Premier, or other visibility feature does not make a provider or organization more verified.

Likewise, a verified provider or organization does not need to purchase a higher commercial tier to maintain its verification status.

02Scope

What We May Review

The exact scope of verification may vary by listing and by the information available. MindBridge does not claim that every field is always verified.

Individual professionals

  • Professional name and title
  • Academic qualifications
  • Professional registrations or licences
  • Organization affiliation
  • City, location and languages
  • Public professional profile or website
  • Services or practice areas supported by submitted or public information

Organizations

  • Organization name and type
  • Website and contact details
  • Locations
  • Publicly listed services
  • Linked professionals
  • Other public business or organization information
03Important limits

What Verification Does Not Mean

Verification is a review of specified listing information. It does not mean that MindBridge:

  • Guarantee the quality of care or treatment outcomes
  • Endorse a provider or organization
  • Recommend one provider over another
  • Confirm that a listing is appropriate for every user
  • Independently evaluate clinical competence
  • Guarantee that submitted information will remain current indefinitely
  • Verify every statement made on a profile

Users should make their own informed decisions and contact providers or organizations directly when they need clarification about qualifications, services, availability, or suitability.

04Reading a listing

Verification Statuses

Read the label together with any explanation of what MindBridge reviewed.

Verified

MindBridge has reviewed specified information associated with the listing. A professional badge may identify the reviewed scope as Profile Verified or Credentials Verified.

Pending

Verification is currently being reviewed. This status does not mean that review has been completed.

Unverified

The listing has not completed MindBridge verification. Users should confirm important information directly.

Example Listing

Fictional demonstration content showing how MindBridge profiles may appear. It does not represent a real provider or organization.

05Independent assessment

Individual and Organization Verification Are Separate

A verified organization does not automatically mean that every professional associated with it has been individually verified.

A verified professional does not automatically verify the organization where they work.

Each status is assessed independently. This is especially important for hospitals, clinics, centers, and multidisciplinary organizations.

06Two separate systems

Commercial Profile Tier vs. Verification

Commercial profile level affects how information can be presented on MindBridge. Verification status reflects the review of listing information. The two systems are independent.

Commercial Profile Tier

Controls profile features, presentation, media, team display, locations, events and resources, analytics, and clearly labelled promotional opportunities.

Verification Status

Reflects which submitted or publicly available professional or organization information MindBridge has reviewed.

07The process

How Verification Works

The information requested and the review undertaken may differ depending on the listing.

  1. 01

    Submit or claim a listing

A professional or organization submits information or requests control of an existing listing.

  2. 02

    Provide supporting information

MindBridge may request links, documentation, registration information, organization details, or other relevant material.

  3. 03

    Review

MindBridge reviews the information available and records what has been reviewed.

  4. 04

    Display status

The profile displays an appropriate status and may explain the scope of the review.

Keeping Information Current

Professional roles, organization affiliations, locations, registrations, services, and contact details can change. MindBridge may periodically request updates, and providers or organizations can submit corrections at any time.

Verification reflects information reviewed at a point in time. It is not a permanent guarantee that every profile detail remains unchanged.

About Example Listings

MindBridge uses clearly labelled fictional example listings to demonstrate how profiles and directory features may work.

Example listings do not represent real providers or organizations and are excluded from real listing totals, search-engine indexing, and structured data.
